• Source and procure quality used vehicle stock through trade-ins, auctions, and direct purchases.
• Evaluate vehicles accurately, including appraisals and trade-in valuations.
• Manage and maintain used vehicle inventory, ensuring optimal stock mix and ageing control.
• Set competitive pricing strategies aligned with market trends and dealership targets.
• Monitor departmental sales performance, gross profit, and stock turn ratios.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the used car sales team to achieve targets and performance standards.
• Ensure vehicles are reconditioned, prepared, and merchandised to dealership standards.
• Collaborate with Finance and Insurance departments to maximize deal profitability.
• Maintain compliance with dealership policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
• Analyse sales data and market trends to adjust purchasing and pricing strategies.
• Handle customer queries, escalations, and ensure excellent customer service delivery.

• Proven experience in used vehicle sales or automotive dealership management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle valuations, market trends, and stock control principles.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and team management skills.
• Strong financial and business acumen with a focus on profitability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales and performance targets.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
