Lead Automotive Mechanic

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Lead Automotive Mechanic to oversee operations in their workshop in Centurion. • Lead and supervise a team of automotive mechanics, providing technical direction and performance feedback.
• Oversee the workflow of the workshop, ensuring timely and efficient completion of all repair and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues across various vehicle types.
• Ensure all repairs are performed to the highest quality standards and comply with manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain workshop inventory for tools and equipment, recommending necessary upgrades or replacements.

• Extensive experience as an Automotive Mechanic, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing major vehicle systems including engine, transmission, suspension, and brakes.
• Strong understanding of workshop management principles and team leadership.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and a commitment to staying updated with automotive advancements.
• Relevant trade certification and a demonstrated ability to mentor and train junior technicians.
