About the Role Our client is seeking a meticulous and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Centurion . This role is integral to managing the costs and financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for estimating, cost control, contract administration, and financial reporting, ensuring projects remain within budget and deliver maximum value.

The ideal candidate is adept at financial analysis, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses excellent negotiation skills, playing a crucial part in the financial success of diverse construction ventures in the Gauteng region.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects.
• Manage all costs relating to building projects, from initial calculations to final figures, ensuring projects are completed within budget.
• Administer and manage construction contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Identify, analyze, and report on project financial performance and potential risks.
• Negotiate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on contract terms and costs.
• Valuation of work completed and processing of interim and final payments.

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on a variety of construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, contract law, and cost engineering principles.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software and financial analysis tools.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional registration with a relevant body is advantageous.
