Construction Foreman - Residential Projects

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Foreman to lead teams on residential building projects in and around Centurion, Gauteng . As a Foreman, you will be instrumental in guiding skilled tradespeople and laborers, ensuring the efficient execution of daily construction activities. This hybrid role involves on-site supervision combined with administrative duties and coordination, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and team motivation.

You will be responsible for maintaining safety standards, quality workmanship, and adherence to project timelines, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality residential properties.

• Direct and supervise daily on-site construction operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Assign tasks to crew members, monitor their performance, and provide guidance and training.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction according to specifications.
• Implement and enforce site safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on progress, material needs, and potential issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring proper tool and equipment management.

• Significant experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the building industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate a crew.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites as needed.
