Project Manager - Construction & Engineering

Our client, a prominent player in the construction and engineering sector, is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng
. This role is critical for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of various construction projects. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, excellent leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail. • Oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, from initial planning and design to execution and final completion.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage on-site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing diverse construction projects (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial).
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and CAD software knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
  
  Experience working in a hybrid capacity, balancing office and site responsibilities.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Pr. Eng) are advantageous.
