About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Senior Audio Editor to join their innovative production team in Centurion . This role is critical for refining and polishing the audio elements of various media projects, ensuring clarity, consistency, and professional quality. You will be responsible for editing dialogue, music, and sound effects, preparing them for final mixing and mastering. The ideal candidate has a sharp ear, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for audio post-production, contributing to projects that reach wide audiences.
You will work in a collaborative setting, interfacing with sound mixers, producers, and other creative personnel to achieve the highest standards of audio fidelity and impact.
- Edit dialogue, music, and sound effects for clarity, pacing, and overall quality.
- Ensure seamless integration of all audio elements, removing unwanted noise and artifacts.
- Sync audio to picture accurately and efficiently for film, television, and other media.
- Prepare final audio mixes for delivery according to project specifications and delivery requirements.
- Maintain meticulous organizational standards for all audio files and session data.
- Collaborate with the sound mixing team to address technical and creative notes.
- Proven experience as an Audio Editor in a professional production environment.
- Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs such as Pro Tools, Nuendo, or Logic Pro X.
- Strong understanding of audio principles, including mixing, mastering, and signal flow.
- Excellent listening skills and an acute attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with noise reduction and audio restoration techniques is a plus.
