The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sonic aesthetics, advanced audio engineering techniques, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of sound in artistic expression. • Spearhead the conceptualization and execution of sound design for various projects, ensuring artistic integrity and technical excellence.
• Lead and mentor a team of sound designers, providing guidance on creative direction, technical application, and project management.
• Collaborate with directors, composers, and other creatives to develop cohesive and compelling sonic environments.
• Record, edit, and mix audio elements, including Foley, dialogue, music, and sound effects, to achieve desired artistic outcomes.
• Implement sound designs within specified platforms and technologies, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Conduct field recordings and manage audio libraries, ensuring high-quality and organized sound assets.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in sound design and audio production.
• Manage project timelines and budgets related to sound design deliverables.

• A Bachelor's degree in Sound Design, Audio Engineering, Music Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in professional sound design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
• Proven expertise in using industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live) and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD).
• Demonstrable experience in creating sound for live events, film, gaming, or interactive installations.
• Strong understanding of acoustics, signal processing, and audio mixing techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of high-quality sound design work is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Centurion, Gauteng based studios and collaborative environments.
