Talent Pool: Graphic Designer MMH

As a graphic designer, your main role will be to set, maintain and improve the overall quality and efficiency of graphic design at Momentum Health and this includes being a champion of projects with passion and pride. We are looking for someone who can design extremely compelling and creative work, both in the digital and print environment and communicates ideas clearly and elegantly, responds to business goals, and makes people think.

• Bachelor's degree in in graphic design/UX or equivalent.
• Honours or Master’s degree (Advantageous)

• Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience as a graphic designer.
• Experience in print and digital design.
• Experience in HTML and CSS is an advantage.
• Computer skills/MS word, Excel, email.
• Technical knowledge and proficiency of design software essential, especially Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and Acrobat), collaborative interface design tools (such as Figma) as well as design understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Possesses knowledge of print materials and understands which print vehicles are the best given the requirement of each job.
• Passionate about illustration and typography

• Ensure all designs in the Multiply marketing team adhere to the CI.
• Working as part of a team, both within the Multiply marketing team and across other teams in the business, including copywriters, photographers, videographers, other designers and marketing specialists (internal and external) to deliver design elements on jobs such as but not limited to:
• All member communication that requires design or checking of design, like newsletter, emails and blogs;
• Social media graphical assets and infographics;
• Production of partner activation collateral – banners, flyers, posters, image sourcing for various media e.g. digital and print;
• In-store banners using partner branding and imagery;
• Design and layout for print media (eg partner magazines);
• Create videos, motion graphics and animated content.
• Ensuring that sourced images are aligned to CI and all other elements of production (ie image and copy alignment); and
• Any other design job that may arise for execution within the Multiply marketing team.
• Propose creative concept elements for potential and new projects.
• Engage relevant stakeholders for clarity and understanding the business objectives of requested design jobs when needed.
• Interpreting the business needs into design and developing concepts to suit the identified purpose.
• Critically review and add to design job requests for maximum creative output.
• Participate in initial concept brainstorming of requested job to add creative guidance and solutions that are consistent with the brand and CI.
• Solution oriented in executing design jobs within the constraints of cost and time.
• Review the production process for improvements and reduction of production costs.
• Give guidance to ensure that the creative product selected meets the communication goal of the message.
• Keep project owner abreast of all job developments with regards to concept and deadlines, so that stakeholder expectations can be managed.
• Stay abreast of latest graphic design and technology trends.
• Inspire, mentor and guide the more junior members of the team, having a positive impact on their output.
• Be deadline driven.
