ARE YOU OUR NEXT COLLECTIONS CLERK?
We are seeking a detailed orientated and proactive Collections Clerk to join our dynamic logistic steam in Centurion.
- Accurately capture and process collection requests on the relevant systems.
- Schedule and monitor collections to ensure they are completed within agreed service levels.
- Follow up on outstanding collections and escalates unresolved issues where necessary.
- Ensure all collection information is correctly recorded and updated on operational systems.
- Maintain accurate collection records and supporting documentation.
- Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) documents are received, verified, and uploaded within the required time frames.
- Investigate and resolve missing PODs and collection-related documentation discrepancies.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure all documentation is readily available when required.
- Assist with audits and documentation requests.
- Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding collection queries and status updates.
- Provide professional and timely feedback to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, drivers, and operational teams.
- Escalate customer concerns appropriately and ensure resolution within agreed timelines.
- Liaise with drivers, planners, and operations teams to ensure collections are executed efficiently.
- Monitor collection performance and identify delays or service failures.
- Assist with resolving collection-related exceptions and operational challenges.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Matric
- A customer service-related qualification would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and previous experience working in Customer Service, with at least 1 year working in the logistics industry.
- Knowledge of Operations Planning.
- Good working experience with and sound knowledge of CSD software.
