About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Architectural Project Manager to lead complex projects from inception to completion in Centurion . This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including budget management, scheduling, team coordination, and stakeholder communication. You will be instrumental in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, fostering a collaborative environment.
This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of the architectural and construction lifecycle, working within a respected firm known for its commitment to excellence.
- Manage all phases of the architectural project lifecycle, from conceptualization through to project close-out.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including architects, technologists, contractors, and consultants.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Oversee contract administration, including tender processes, negotiation, and change order management.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes in Gauteng .
- Professional Architect qualification or a degree in Construction Management/Project Management.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing architectural and construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, contract law, and construction regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
