Centurion is home to many prominent dual-medium and Afrikaans-medium schools. We need a math specialist who can explain complex mathematical logic, algebra, and geometry clearly in Afrikaans to help our learners excel in their tests and exams.

Centurion is home to many prominent dual-medium and Afrikaans-medium schools. We need a math specialist who can explain complex mathematical logic, algebra, and geometry clearly in Afrikaans to help our learners excel in their tests and exams.
The Role- Location:
In-person sessions in Centurion and surrounding suburbs. - Language Requirement:
Fluent in Afrikaans (teaching will be conducted primarily in Afrikaans). - Curriculum:
Expert understanding of CAPS and IEB Mathematics frameworks. - Level: Grade 8 to Grade 12 (Pure Mathematics).
- Type:
Part-time / Hourly.
- Deliver clear, structured 1-on-1 Mathematics lessons in Afrikaans.
- Simplify abstract concepts:
Algebra, Trigonometry, Euclidean Geometry, and Calculus (Algebra, Trigonometrie, Euklidiese Meetkunde en Calculus). - Train students in exam techniques, past paper drills, and time management.
- Provide regular, constructive feedback to parents on their child’s progress.
- Language:
First-language fluency or complete professional proficiency in Afrikaans. - Academic Record: A distinction (Level
7) in Matric Mathematics. - Background:
University student or graduate pursuing a degree in Engineering, BSc, Actuarial Science, BEd, or related fields. - Location & Mobility:
Must reside in or be able to easily travel around Centurion. - Soft Skills:
Patient, punctual, professional, and able to build strong rapport with high school learners.
