About the Role
Our client is looking for an energetic and inspiring Youth Mentor and Development Officer to lead impactful programs for young people in the Centurion area. This role is dedicated to guiding, supporting, and empowering youth to achieve their full potential through structured mentorship, educational initiatives, and skills development. You will create a positive and safe environment where young individuals can explore their interests, build confidence, and prepare for future success.

- Design and implement engaging mentorship and youth development programs.
- Facilitate workshops and activities focused on life skills, career exploration, and personal growth.
- Provide one-on-one mentoring to youth, offering guidance, encouragement, and support.
- Connect youth with educational opportunities, internships, and volunteer placements.
- Monitor participant progress and program effectiveness, providing regular feedback and reports.
- Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance program reach and impact.
- Previous experience working with youth in a mentorship, counseling, or educational capacity.
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and common youth challenges.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and group management skills.
- Passion for empowering young people and fostering positive change.
- Ability to organize and manage program logistics effectively.
- Experience in curriculum development or program planning is advantageous for this Centurion role.
