About the Role
Our client is searching for a dynamic and passionate Nursery Teacher to foster a nurturing and educational environment in their Centurion facility. This role involves creating enriching learning experiences that cater to the developmental needs of young children, blending structured activities with opportunities for free play and exploration. You will work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's growth and well-being.
The ideal candidate is adept at managing a classroom, adapting to hybrid work requirements, and is committed to laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning, contributing to a setting where children feel secure, stimulated, and valued, promoting their holistic development.
- Develop and implement a stimulating and play-based curriculum for nursery-aged children.
- Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and provide constructive feedback to parents during scheduled meetings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to plan events, share best practices, and support a cohesive team effort.
- A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Development or Primary Education.
- Previous experience teaching or caring for young children in a nursery or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of child development milestones and effective pedagogical approaches for the early years.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective parent and team interaction.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for both in-person and potentially remote/hybrid engagement as needed.
