Lead Toddler Teacher

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher to create an enriching learning experience for our youngest learners in Centurion . This role requires a deep understanding of toddler development, the ability to design engaging curriculum, and a commitment to fostering a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. You will lead a classroom of toddlers, guiding them through their initial educational journey and building strong relationships with both the children and their families.

• Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddlers, focusing on sensory exploration, language acquisition, and social-emotional skills.
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Manage classroom operations, including daily schedules, routines, and hygiene practices.
• Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's progress, maintaining detailed records and communicating effectively with parents.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and other staff to ensure a cohesive and high-quality childcare program.

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field (e.g., NQF Level 4 or higher).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Lead Teacher or in a similar role with toddlers.
• Demonstrated knowledge of toddler development milestones and effective teaching strategies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Current First Aid certification and a clear criminal record check.
