Special Needs Coordinator

Our client is seeking a compassionate and highly organized Special Needs Coordinator to support students with diverse learning requirements in Centurion . This vital role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), coordinating with teachers, parents, and external specialists to ensure students receive the necessary support to thrive academically and socially. • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers to integrate support strategies into the classroom environment.

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and track their progress.
• Organize and facilitate meetings related to student support and intervention strategies.
• Stay current with best practices, research, and legislation pertaining to special education .

• A degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with students with diverse special needs.
• Thorough understanding of IEP development and implementation processes.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
• Excellent communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
