Assistant Preschool Teacher

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Preschool Teacher to support the lead teacher in their vibrant educational setting in Centurion, Gauteng . This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in early childhood education while contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment for young children. You will assist in daily classroom activities, support individual student needs, and help maintain classroom order and safety.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about early learning and eager to develop their skills in a professional childcare setting.

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Provide one-on-one support to children needing extra attention or help.
• Supervise children during playtime, transitions, and meal times, ensuring their safety.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Prepare classroom materials and learning aids as directed by the lead teacher.
• Observe children's behavior and report any significant developments to the lead teacher.

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.
• Some experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool setting.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine affection for children.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
