Senior BIM Modeller – Water (Mechanical)

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Senior BIM Modeller – Water (Mechanical) to join our South Africa offices.

• The Senior BIM Modeller applies knowledge within an area to a project to solve straightforward problems and is also able to apply that knowledge to typical solutions.
• Applies knowledge within an area to a project to solve straightforward problems and is also able to apply that knowledge to typical situations.
• Works independently and collaboratively with moderate level of guidance.
• Work is regularly reviewed by supervisors and more senior team members.
• Contributes within an area of knowledge on a project, solving a range of straightforward problems, and applying that knowledge to atypical assignments.
• Analyzes and applies solutions to typical issues within area of expertise within a sub-group or team within their function, business unit or technical discipline, using standard operating procedures/methodologies as a basis.

• 5 Years+ experience with modelling software in a Mechanical Engineering environment.
• Advanced user in Autodesk Revit Software (Buildings) / Autodesk Civil 3D (Civils) / Plant 3D or similar, capable of drawing/modeling with limited supervision and creating content within a specific discipline. Must also be an advanced user in other core discipline-specific software.

Grade 12, 2 years Diploma in Drafting or 3 years Diploma course in Engineering, preferably. Optional BIM certification.
