BIM Modeller - Mechanical, Data Center

Position

BIM Modeller – Mechanical, Data Center (South Africa – Pretoria, 263A West Avenue, Centurion)

• Support mechanical building services disciplines (HVAC, Wet Services, Process, Fire) using Autodesk Revit.
• Maintain and develop BIM models following AECOM standards and the BIM Execution Plan.
• Perform Level 3 QA/QC checks and coordinate with Architecture, Structural, Electrical teams.
• Run clash detection in Navis Works and resolve interdisciplinary coordination issues.
• Conduct BIM upskilling for team members and assist BIM Manager with content creation.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, schedule work, and maintain project‑specific filing systems.
• Read construction documents, understand design parameters, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Take ownership of work, ensuring accuracy and quality of discipline models.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechanical building services with Revit.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• At least 1 year of experience in a BIM environment.
• Preferred:
  Certification in mechanical built‑environment studies and/or Revit.
• General understanding of integrated architectural and engineering practices.
