Design Engineer; Electrical​/Mechatronic – Sustainable Energy

This is an exciting opportunity for engineers who want to design high-quality, well-engineered solutions that help clients optimise energy use, improve efficiency and operate more sustainably. You will work within a team led by Professional Engineers on real projects spanning electrical and mechatronic design for buildings, plants and industrial processes.

• Design and develop electrical and/or mechatronic systems and solutions tailored to client requirements
• Produce detailed designs, drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Support energy optimisation, renewable energy integration and efficiency projects
• Perform calculations, modelling and system sizing
• Liaise with clients, contractors and the broader engineering team throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist with site assessments, commissioning and quality assurance
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes and regulations

• Degree in Electrical, Mechatronic or related engineering discipline
• 3 – 10 years' relevant design engineering experience
• Strong technical, analytical and design software skills
• Exposure to energy, renewable energy or sustainability projects advantageous
• Professional registration (or working towards) advantageous
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to sites
