Solar Design Engineer​/Specialist: Zambia Expat

Introduction

We are looking for a highly skilled Solar Design Engineer to join our client a large EPC in Zambia. This expatriate position offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of sustainable energy infrastructure in one of Africa’s fastest-developing markets. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, innovation, and leadership to solar PV projects from concept to completion.
The successful candidate dont need to be an engineer and can hold a diploma but must have the technical expertise and knowledg.

Rotation basis:
Housing, Car , flights

• System design
  :
  Create detailed layouts and electrical schematics for solar PV installations.

• Performance analysis
  :
  Conduct energy yield assessments and optimize system efficiency.

• Technical support
  :
  Provide engineering expertise during installation and commissioning.

• Compliance
  :
  Ensure designs meet local regulations, safety standards, and international best practices.

• Collaboration
  :
  Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver successful projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  , Renewable Energy, or related field.

• Proven experience in solar PV design and project execution.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD
  , PVsyst, or similar tools.

• Strong knowledge of Zambian energy regulations and grid connection requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nett 40 000 - R75 000 per month depending on your experience background.
