Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

• Lead the design and manufacturing development of composite components, tooling and fixtures
• Develop and optimise composite manufacturing processes for quality, repeatability and efficiency
• Produce detailed Solid Works models, drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Troubleshoot production challenges and implement effective engineering solutions
• Collaborate closely with production, quality and engineering teams on new and existing products

• 3+ years’ experience in mechanical design and manufacturing
• Strong Solid Works capability with a focus on design for manufacture
• Proven hands-on experience manufacturing composite components
• Strong understanding of composite processes, tooling and production methods
• Experience in a demanding precision manufacturing, aerospace, automotive or similar environment advantageous

• BEng, BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
