About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineer to contribute to their advanced manufacturing facility in Centurion . This role is central to optimizing the integration and performance of various manufacturing systems, including automation, robotics, and production software. You will be responsible for analyzing system requirements, designing efficient layouts, and ensuring the seamless operation of integrated manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of automation technologies and their application in enhancing production efficiency and product quality.

- Design, implement, and maintain integrated manufacturing systems, focusing on automation, robotics, and data management.
- Analyze system performance data to identify areas for optimization and implement improvements to increase throughput and reduce downtime.
- Develop and manage project plans for the integration of new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and R&D, to ensure alignment of manufacturing systems with overall business objectives.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to manufacturing hardware and software systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all system designs and implementations.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering, automation, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience with PLC programming , robotics integration, and SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of data acquisition, database management, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and smart manufacturing technologies is highly desirable.
