About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager with a specialization in Infrastructure projects to join their growing team in Centurion, Gauteng. This role is crucial for the successful planning and execution of infrastructure development and upgrade projects. You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, and delivery timelines. The position offers a chance to work on significant development projects that form the backbone of our client's operations, within a company that values technical expertise and forward-thinking solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all phases of infrastructure projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and handover.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
- Oversee the development and management of project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and financial summaries for senior management.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, resolving any technical or logistical challenges that may arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience managing infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, utilities, buildings).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software and CAD/BIM tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Pr. Eng) are advantageous.
