Junior Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Our client seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Electrical Engineer to join their engineering department in Centurion . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or an engineer with 1-2 years of experience looking to build a solid foundation in the field. You will support senior engineers on various projects, gaining hands‑on experience in electrical system design, analysis, and testing.

We are looking for an individual with a strong academic background, a passion for electrical engineering, and a desire to learn and grow within a professional team environment. You will contribute to innovative projects while developing essential engineering competencies.

• Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits, control systems, and power distribution networks under senior guidance.
• Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and preliminary testing of components and systems.
• Support the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to gather project requirements and assist with troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical design aspects align with overall project goals.
• Learn and apply company standards and best practices in all assigned tasks.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, internships or co‑op experience considered.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles , circuit analysis, and power systems.
• Familiarity with CAD software for electrical drawing is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
