About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Systems Engineer to join their innovative team in Centurion . This role is crucial for the design, development, integration, and testing of complex aircraft systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams, including aerodynamics, structures, and avionics, to deliver cutting-edge aircraft solutions. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and validate aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and environmental control systems.
- Perform system integration activities, ensuring seamless interaction between different aircraft components and subsystems.
- Conduct rigorous testing and simulation of aircraft systems to verify performance against specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise during design, manufacturing, or operational phases.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and maintenance manuals.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing and flight test teams to support production and flight operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft systems engineering or a closely related aerospace discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE software and systems modeling tools (e.g., CATIA, Solid Works, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong understanding of aircraft structures, aerodynamics, propulsion, and avionics.
- Experience with DO-178C and DO-254 standards is highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective team interaction.
