Civil Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client requires a proactive and experienced Civil Project Engineer to manage and execute infrastructure projects from their office in Centurion . This role demands a hands-on approach to project management, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints. You will be the primary point of contact for project activities, coordinating with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders. This is a critical, on-site position that requires diligent attention to detail and strong leadership capabilities to drive project success in a bustling urban development environment.

• Manage all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, procurement, execution, and closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and construction teams to facilitate smooth project progression.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues as they arise to minimize impact.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project performance.

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 6 years of experience in managing civil engineering projects .
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, and project management software .
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Centurion .
