Our client is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Mechanical Engineer to contribute to their Special Projects division in Centurion . This role focuses on tackling unique and challenging engineering problems that require innovative solutions. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of special projects, from initial research and concept development to testing and implementation, working closely with a diverse team of specialists.

- Conceptualize, design, and develop novel mechanical solutions for specialized project requirements.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to verify design integrity and functionality.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to define project scope and technical objectives.
- Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and testing phases of special project components and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise during project execution.
- Document all design work, testing procedures, and project outcomes thoroughly.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience, with a significant portion focused on diverse or non-standard mechanical challenges.
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering simulation tools.
- Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project tasks concurrently.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
