Maintenance Engineer - Industrial Systems

About the Role

Our client seeks a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer specializing in industrial systems for their operations in Centurion . This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation and longevity of our manufacturing and operational equipment. You will be responsible for implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and leading preventative maintenance initiatives. • Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for all industrial machinery and systems.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Oversee the installation of new equipment and ensure it meets performance standards.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure availability for critical repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize the impact of maintenance activities on output in Centurion .

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
