About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Process Improvement Engineer to join their established manufacturing facility in Centurion. This role is primarily site-based, focusing on hands‑on analysis and implementation of process enhancements. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, quality, and cost reduction initiatives by applying proven industrial engineering methodologies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in operational excellence and a passion for transforming processes to achieve superior business outcomes.

- Lead the design and implementation of continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
- Conduct time and motion studies, workflow analysis, and root cause investigations for process deviations.
- Develop and refine production standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Implement lean manufacturing tools and techniques to eliminate waste and improve value streams.
- Train and mentor production personnel on new processes and quality standards.
- Monitor and report on the performance of implemented improvements, ensuring sustained gains.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a process improvement or industrial engineering role within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools (e.g., value stream mapping, DMAIC).
- Proficiency in data analysis, problem‑solving, and project management.
- Experience with CAD software for layout design is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
