About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Civil Engineer to join their site development team in Centurion, Gauteng . This role is perfect for a recent graduate or early-career engineer eager to gain hands‑on experience in land development, urban planning, and infrastructure coordination. You will assist senior engineers in designing and managing projects that transform raw land into functional commercial, residential, and industrial areas.

- Assist in the preparation of site development plans, including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and verify compliance with design documents.
- Perform engineering calculations for stormwater management, earthworks, and road design.
- Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and other consultants on project design and implementation.
- Review construction submittals and respond to contractor inquiries.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and project documentation.
- BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
- Eligibility for ECSA registration as a Candidate Engineer.
- 0-3 years of experience in civil engineering , with a focus on site development or land planning.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and basic engineering principles.
- Understanding of South African land use regulations and development processes.
- Strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, and attention to detail.
