Lead Electrical Project Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Electrical Project Engineer to spearhead electrical engineering initiatives in Centurion . This senior role involves taking ownership of electrical projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative project environment.

• Oversee all technical aspects of electrical projects, from initial design and planning to execution and commissioning.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring efficient project delivery.
• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering professional growth and high performance.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met and approvals are obtained.
• Conduct rigorous risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for electrical projects.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety standards, building codes, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a project leadership or management role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects from initiation to closure.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly desirable.
