About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic Telecoms Solutions Architect to be based in our Centurion office. This senior role involves designing innovative and robust telecommunications solutions that meet our clients' evolving business needs. You will be instrumental in translating complex requirements into detailed technical blueprints, working closely with sales, engineering, and product development teams. This is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of current and emerging telecom technologies, coupled with the ability to articulate technical strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving the future of our service offerings.

• Design end-to-end telecommunications solutions, including network architecture, service offerings, and integration strategies.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored technical proposals.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance service capabilities and competitive advantage.
• Develop high-level and detailed design documents, including network diagrams, system specifications, and implementation plans.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and technological advancements in the telecom sector.

• Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in telecommunications network design and architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of network protocols, wireless technologies (5G, LTE), IP networking, and cloud-based telecom solutions.
• Proven ability to architect complex, scalable, and resilient network solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience working within a collaborative team environment in Centurion .
