About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly competent Avionics Systems Engineer to join their innovative team in Centurion . This role is central to the design, integration, testing, and certification of advanced avionics systems for next-generation aircraft. You will play a key role in ensuring our avionics solutions meet stringent performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in avionics hardware and software, systems integration, and a proven ability to solve complex engineering challenges in a fast-paced aerospace environment, contributing to cutting-edge aviation technology development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and integrate complex avionics systems, including communication, navigation, flight control, and monitoring systems.
  • Perform system requirements analysis, architecture design, and interface definition for avionics subsystems.
  • Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, simulation, and validation of avionics software and hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the development, testing, and certification phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure system compliance and performance.
  • Document system designs, test procedures, results, and certification documentation in accordance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with a specialization in Avionics.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in avionics systems engineering , design, integration, or testing.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace communication and navigation standards (e.g., ARINC, DO-178C, DO-254).
  • Experience with simulation tools, test equipment, and avionics debugging techniques.
  • Familiarity with aircraft certification processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective collaboration in Centurion .
