Senior Production Engineer

Our client is seeking a proactive Senior Production Engineer to join their team based in Centurion . This hybrid role will focus on optimizing oil and gas production from existing wells, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production facilities. You will work closely with field operations, reservoir engineers, and other disciplines to maximize asset value.

The role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in both remote and on-site environments.

• Monitor and analyze well and facility production data to identify performance issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for artificial lift optimization, gas lift, and injection management.
• Conduct production system analysis, including flow assurance and integrity management.
• Collaborate with field personnel to troubleshoot production problems and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare production forecasts, economic evaluations, and technical reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in production engineering for oil and gas operations.
• Strong understanding of production facilities, artificial lift systems, and surface operations.
• Experience with production data analysis software and simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
