Project Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Electrical Engineer to manage and execute electrical engineering projects in Centurion. This role involves overseeing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for technical oversight, resource management, and stakeholder communication, playing a pivotal role in the success of key initiatives.

• Manage the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, from planning and design to procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these objectives.
• Coordinate and supervise project teams, including internal staff and external contractors, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant safety regulations, engineering standards, and company policies.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and manage expectations effectively.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for project-related challenges.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with professional engineering registration (e.g., Pr Eng) highly regarded.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering project management.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale industrial or commercial electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
