Junior Process Engineer – Chemical & Process Plant Engineering

An exciting opportunity exists for a recently qualified or Junior Process Engineer to join an experienced Process Engineering team.
This position is ideal for a motivated Chemical Engineering graduate looking to build a career in process design, plant engineering and industrial process technologies
.
Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to engineering design, process calculations, equipment specifications and project implementation.

• Assist with mass and energy balances and process design calculations.
• Prepare and update Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Support the preparation of equipment data sheets and technical specifications.
• Assist with process modelling, design documentation and technical reports.
• Participate in plant inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Support process optimisation and research and development initiatives.
• Work closely with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering teams.

• BEng/BSc Engineering or National Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognised institution.
• 0-3 years' relevant experience
  ; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles, mass and energy balances and process design.
• Exposure to process simulation software would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• An interest in process plant engineering, mining,
• or industrial applications.
