Event Coordinator - Entertainment

About the Role

Our client is searching for a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to manage and execute a wide range of live entertainment events in and around Centurion . This role is pivotal in ensuring that every event, from concerts to festivals, is delivered seamlessly and successfully, contributing to the vibrant Arts & Entertainment landscape. You will be responsible for all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization and budgeting to on-site management and post-event analysis.

• Plan, organize, and execute various live entertainment events from start to finish.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Source and manage vendors, suppliers, and contractors, negotiating contracts and overseeing services.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects, including venue selection, staffing, security, and technical requirements.
• Provide on-site management during events, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a positive experience for attendees.

• Demonstrated experience in event planning and management , particularly within the live entertainment sector.
• Strong understanding of event production, logistics, and supplier management.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
