Finance Manager

Hire Resolve are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our growing client's insurance team in Centurion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, preferably in the insurance industry, and be able to effectively manage all financial activities within the organization. The role involves some remote opportunity, with travel involved.

• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to ensure the long-term financial stability of the organization
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage the internal control systems and recommend improvements to enhance financial performance
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial operations and achieve strategic objectives
• Monitor financial performance and identify trends and opportunities for growth
• Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals
• Play a key role in strategic planning and decision-making processes
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to inform financial strategies and initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g. CA, CTA, Hons) preferred
• 5+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of insurance financial reporting and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in financial systems and software, including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management
• Strong leadership and management capabilities
• Willingness to travel as required
