Senior Payment Officer

An established and fast-paced organisation is looking for a Senior Payments Officer to join its Finance team in Centurion. Reporting to the Finance Executive, youll play a critical role in managing corporate payments, maintaining beneficiary information and ensuring that all domestic and international transactions are processed accurately, securely and within strict banking deadlines.

Maintain and securely manage corporate beneficiary profiles across online banking platforms Verify banking details against authorised records to prevent errors and payment fraud Process domestic EFTs, inter-account transfers and international Forex payments Review and audit payment packs for accuracy, authorisation and supporting documentation Investigate and resolve payment, invoice and documentation discrepancies Monitor daily bank balances and report cash positions Ensure operational accounts are adequately funded for scheduled payments Monitor and process scheduled loan repayments Maintain and enforce strong payment workflow and internal controls

Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Finance Minimum 5 years experience in corporate payments Foreign payment experience Sage ERP or similar accounting system experience If youre ready to take ownership of high-value payment processes and become a key part of a finance function where accuracy, security and financial control are critical, this could be the opportunity for you.
