Management Consultant - Financial Planning & Analysis

Our client, a highly respected management consultancy, is seeking a skilled Management Consultant with expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng, ZA. This role is crucial for supporting clients in optimizing their financial strategies, improving forecasting accuracy, and driving financial performance. You will work closely with finance departments across various industries, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

This position is office-based, offering direct collaboration with colleagues and clients in the bustling economic center of Centurion. You will play a key role in enhancing financial decision-making and achieving strategic business objectives.

• Develop and implement robust financial planning and analysis processes.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities for clients.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial dashboards for effective reporting.
• Support clients in the implementation of financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, budgeting software).
• Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for financial performance deviations.
• Advise clients on cost management strategies and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive-level audiences.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or management consulting with a finance focus.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and budgeting processes.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Experience working in a client-facing role within the Gauteng region is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and delivering high-quality work.
