Medical Science Liaison; MSL

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a key scientific resource for their innovative pharmaceutical portfolio in the Centurion, Gauteng area. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), researchers, and healthcare professionals, providing them with in-depth scientific and clinical information. You will be responsible for communicating complex scientific data, supporting research initiatives, and gathering insights that inform the company's medical strategy.

• Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to discuss the latest scientific and clinical data related to company products.
• Present complex scientific information clearly and accurately to diverse audiences.
• Support investigator-initiated trials (IITs) and provide scientific expertise to internal teams.
• Gather and synthesize insights from KOLs and the scientific community to inform medical strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest medical literature, clinical trial results, and industry trends.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses, advisory boards, and other relevant medical events.

• Advanced scientific degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., or equivalent) in a relevant life science discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison role or equivalent within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong scientific and clinical knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage KOLs effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage territory effectively.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region of Gauteng.
