We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise data strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise data architecture, cloud-based solutions, and data governance, backed by relevant industry certifications.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data architecture strategies and frameworks
• Ensure data models support business requirements, scalability, and security
• Define and implement data governance, metadata management, and data quality standards
• Work with stakeholders to align data strategies with organisational objectives
• Lead the selection and implementation of cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure)
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure integration of data architecture within overall enterprise architecture
• Conduct regular data architecture reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and industry regulations

• Qualification:
  
  Minimum NQF Level 7 in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Business, or Engineering

• TOGAF
• AWS Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
• Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBok)

• More than 7 years’ experience in Data Architecture or related roles
• Proven ability to design and implement enterprise data models, data integration strategies, and governance frameworks

• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and database technologies
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF)
• Expertise in cloud-based data services (AWS, Azure)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
