Role PurposeConsult and liaise with the business to facilitate the process of identifying, designing, developing, implementing and managing the required digital channels and self-service solutions aligned to the business, product client experience strategies
Requirements- Relevant qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Relevant progression certificates (such as Agile/LEAN/Product Owner/Scrum Master)
- 5- 8 Years’ experience in the digital field
- 3-5 Years’ experience in the Insurance/financial industry
- Experience in Design Thinking Facilitation
- Experience with facilitating user experience design, prototyping and user experience testing
- Experience with client journey mapping
- Experience with process reengineering
INTERNAL PROCESS
- Consult and liaise with the relevant business and IT stakeholders to understand the businesses’ requirements for digital client engagement, self-service capabilities and process automation, for both new and existing products.
- Use Design Thinking as a way of work to identify and design new digital solutions, including client journey mapping, prototyping and market testing.
- Keep abreast of the latest technology advancements and the opportunities that these may present, as well as client behaviour and preferences for digital engagement.
- Facilitate the process of identifying, designing and developing the required digital channels and self-service solutions, including development of client journeys, implementation and enhancement of digital solutions, monitoring the effectiveness, efficacy and client experience relative to businesses’ requirements.
- Responsible for the full product life cycle and road map of end-to-end products including visibility, finance, marketing and enhancement of the product and client value propositions within the business area.
- Translate the product strategy and proposition into road maps to outline the vision and direction of the product offering.
- Partner, support and empower the IT Product Owner to achieve their deliverables which includes but not limited to;
- Support IT Product Owner to ensure the customer journey forms part of the product proposition
- Socialise the product vision with team and relevant stakeholders in order to meet business requirements.
- Work with Business Analysts and User Experience (UX) to ensure product prototyping and testing takes place, and product user stories and user journeys support the client and business outcomes.
- Finalise all appropriate marketing, reporting, communication, training, legal, security and operational requirements and ensure these are in place before deployment.
- Adhere to Agile methodology, Lean implementation and best practice standards.
- Be a knowledge leader by keeping abreast with market, practices and client trends.
- Monitor client experience and client feedback, ensuring any significant issues are resolved and that product stabilisation is reached in line with business expectations.
- Monitor the performance of the product to ensure that it meets business requirements. This includes financial performance, client behaviour, usage across the various features and channels, client experience, processes, channel performance, business case.
