Systems Engineer, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain platform automation pipelines using CI/CD tools (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops).
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes-based environments (AKS) and Git Ops tools (e.g., Flux).
- Collaborate with Cloud Architects, SREs, and development teams to ensure consistent platform delivery and environments.
- Write Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Bicep for reusable cloud resources.
- Manage secrets, configuration, and secure access via Azure Key Vault and RBAC.
- Support and maintain platform-level database services, including SQL, Postgre
SQL, Cosmos DB, and AQS. - Troubleshoot platform-related issues and support platform service delivery processes.
- Contribute to operational documentation, runbooks, and automation playbooks.
- 3–5 years in a Dev Ops, Cloud Engineer, or Platform Engineering role.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes clusters and Git Ops workflows.
- Familiar with CI/CD automation, including branching strategies and testing integration.
- Practical experience with IaC (Terraform, Bicep) and scripting languages (Power Shell, Bash).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker), monitoring, and logging best practices.
- Experience operating and optimizing database services (SQL, Postgre
SQL, Cosmos DB, AQS) in cloud environments.
- Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator or Dev Ops Engineer Associate. - Kubernetes (CKA or CKAD) certification preferred.
