T Support Technician
Location:
Centurion (Pretoria, Gauteng)
Salary: R16 000,00 – R18 000,00 per month
Job Type: Permanent
Job OverviewWe are looking for a reliable and experienced IT Support Technician to join our team. The right candidate must have strong technical skills and experience with PSA and AEM systems, SharePoint, Acronis Backups, Firewalls, Servers, Networking, and remote support.
Requirements- Own transport to work
- Valid driver’s licence
- Afrikaans and English speaking
- Ability to work independently and manage time well
- Flexibility to travel to client sites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Provide remote and onsite technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Respond to incidents quickly and escalate where needed
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Install and troubleshoot software applications, updates, patches, and licensing
- Handle network tasks including cabling, VLAN setup, switch configuration, and connectivity issues
- Work with Acronis backups and maintain data protection practices
- Update documentation for systems, processes, and client configurations
- Assist with user training on IT systems and tools
- Support technology upgrades and assist with new solutions
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security best practices
- High school diploma (IT certifications or training are a plus)
- 1+ year IT support or Help Desk experience (preferred)
- 3+ years networking experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, computer hardware, and networking concepts
- Experience with PSA/AEM systems
- Experience with SharePoint, wireless access points, firewalls, servers, and Acronis Backup
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Autotask (Ticketing)

- Remote support when not travelling
