Purpose of the LearnershipThe company is committed to youth skills development, providing unemployed matriculants with an opportunity to gain work-based experience while participating in a Learnership Programme.
Applications are invited for the Technology & Digital Learnership for unemployed matriculants between the ages of 18 and 23
.
The Learnership Programme will run for a period of twelve (12) months
.
A verification process will be undertaken to verify whether you have previous work anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.
Minimum Requirements and ExperienceApplicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 23 years
- Must be unemployed
- Certified copy of Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Certified copy of your
- CV and motivational letter
- Applicants must be unemployed, have never been employed in the field of the post and have never participated in a learnership programme in the relevant field of the post previously
Work-based exposure may include the following:
- Troubleshooting hardware, operating systems, software, user profiles, connectivity and general desktop-related issues
- Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and supporting business applications used by employees
- Monitoring and managing devices through Intune and checking device compliance against organisational policies
- Identifying non-compliant devices and taking corrective action to bring them back into compliance
- Performing manual security patches and software updates
- Ensuring devices have the latest required security updates
- Responding to and resolving user calls and incidents logged with the regional ICT team
- Providing technical assistance directly to users and learning how to diagnose and resolve IT problems efficiently
- Identifying and resolving issues with computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, docking stations and other ICT equipment
- Conducting asset verification and ensuring that ICT equipment is correctly recorded, assigned and accounted for
- Troubleshooting printer connectivity, drivers, configuration, printing and hardware-related issues
Monthly stipend: R4,500.00 per month
