Helpdesk Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Technician to join their IT support team based in Centurion . You will be responsible for providing essential technical support to internal staff, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and resolving hardware and software issues. This on-site role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high levels of technical support.

You will work closely with other IT professionals to manage and maintain the company's technology infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues for all employees.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and related software.
• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform regular system maintenance and updates to prevent issues.
• Assist with user account management and access control.

• Proven experience as a Helpdesk Technician or in a similar IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common office applications.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and hardware diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills .
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site , team-oriented environment.
