Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Senior Data Scientist to join their growing analytics team in Centurion . In this role, you will leverage vast datasets to uncover insights, build predictive models, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and develop data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources for analysis and modeling.
- Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of new initiatives.
- Visualize and communicate complex findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI.
- Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in data science , machine learning, or statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
