Senior Oracle Developer; perm

• Design and build Oracle database solutions endto end: schemas, tables, indexes and stored procedures, aligned with best practice and industry standards.
• Write and optimise complex SQL, PL/SQL and database functions that meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Hunt downbottlenecks throughquery tuning, indexing and resource management to keep systems highly available, reliable and scalable.
• Keep databaseshealthy by monitoring with Oracle tools and utilities and handling backups, restores,upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Protect sensitivedata by implementing and enforcing database security measures and access controls.
• Lead delivery of database development projects with PMs, BAs and IT teams, from requirements to on-time delivery.
• Mentor and lead junior developers, providing hands-on technical leadership.
• Drive improvement by documentingdesigns and configurations, reporting on performance and project status tosenior management, and recommending upgrades to performance, security and functionality.

• Bachelor’sdegree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
• 7+years as an Oracle Developer designing, developing and optimising Oracle database solutions
• Proven,strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle Performance Tuning skills, with a focus on performance optimisation
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle database architecture, design and development
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes and database integration
• Experience with database management and monitoring tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, plus effective communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have: an advanced degree or certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional
