Junior Business System Analyst MMH

Role Purpose

Support the analysis, documentation, testing, and implementation of business systems and technology solutions that enable business objectives. Assist with improving efficiency, enhance business analysis activities, and support data-driven decision-making. Work closely with senior analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business requirements and contribute to system enhancements and projects.

• 0-3 years' experience in Business Analysis, Information Systems, IT Support, Data Analysis, Process Improvement, Digital Transformation, or a related field.
• Internship, graduate programme, project work, or academic exposure involving AI, automation, data analytics, or systems implementation would be beneficial.
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI-enabled business technologies would be advantageous.
• Basic understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies.
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and software development life cycles.
• Knowledge of business process mapping and requirements documentation.
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and generative AI concepts.
• Understanding of data quality, data governance, and analytics principles.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform AI capabilities, ChatGPT, or similar enterprise AI solutions.
• Exposure to AI-enabled tools, business automation platforms, or analytics solutions would be advantageous.
• Basic understanding of systems integration, APIs, databases, and business applications. Adapted from the system analysis focus in the original specification.

• Assist with requirements gathering, documentation, meeting summaries, and analysis.
• Support the identification of opportunities where automation, AI, or digital solutions can improve business processes.
• Assist in evaluating business solutions and their alignment to business requirements.
• Use AI-assisted testing tools to support test preparation, execution, and defect identification.
• Analyse system and business data using modern analytics and AI-powered tools to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support data quality initiatives to ensure information used by AI and reporting solutions is accurate and reliable.
• Contribute to the documentation of business requirements, risks, controls, and governance considerations.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, artificial intelligence trends, and industry best practices.

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving user queries and escalating issues where necessary.
• Contribute to delivering quality service to business users.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
